My 1 dog is lossing fur and it's winter and cold outside?????
My 1 dog he's a mixed breed his name is Boots aka Bootsie and he is lossing a good bit of fur and it's cold outside and it's winter time. There was a couple of bald spots on his lower back now it's thin fur from where he was biting it and he was also lossing some fur around the area to. Maybe 1 other dog Sparky witch is a Jack Russel Terrier is not lossing fur, but she was biting herself before and that fur got filled in. She's not lossing fur unless I like kinda grab her fur anf pull on it not hard like gentaly she'll loss a little bit of it in sheds, but that's not really nothing to worry about.
Does anyone know what could be wrong with my dog Bootsie or what we can do??

Your dog has some sort of skin allergen otherwise he would not be biting himself. Now is a good time to take the dogs to the vet to find out what it is. Perhaps fleas?

there isnt anything wrong with your dog its just shedding its hair because it doesnt need it. It may be freezing outside, but how long each day does your dog actually spend outside?
